Installation is quick and simple, and can be performed by anyone.
HP Laserjet P4014/ P4015/ P4515 Internal Duplex Unit Configuration Notes
Once installed, your printer needs to be configured so that it will duplex all documents (DUPLEX ENABLED = ON*], or on a per document basis [DUPLEX ENABLED = OFF*]. When Duplex is set to 'OFF', you can control the duplexing behaviour for individual documents via the printer driver, provided that you have installed the 'D' (DUPLEX) version of your printer driver. If so, the DUPLEX option under PRINTER PROPERTIES may still display as NOT INSTALLED... simply change this to INSTALLED, and you should now have access to the duplexing features. If not, or if the DUPLEX option is not present, then you will need to delete the printer from PRINTERS AND FAXES, and uninstall the respective driver. You will then need to re-install the driver with the 'D' option.
HP Laserjet P4014/ P4015/ P4515 Printer Driver Installation Notes
When installing drivers for a printer that has upgrade options, such as network cards, extra paper trays, duplex units, stacker or stapler/stacker units, it is best to select the highest optioned printer, and install that driver... for example a HP Laserjet P4015 with NETWORK, DUPLEX UNIT, and extra 500 SHEET PAPER TRAY, would be installed as a HP P4015X [HP P4015DTN] (D=DUPLEX, T=TRAY, and N=NETWORK). The reason being that, if the options are not present, then they will simply be displayed as NOT INSTALLED under PRINTER PROPERTIES. However, support will be already be present, should you choose to add any options in the future, and hence you will avoid having to possibly re-install the printer as described above.
