Product Description: The Lexmark Optra T640 was the first of a completely new generation of high performance medium to large workgroup monochrome laser printers, that built upon the excellent foundation of the Lexmark T63x series. The Lexmark Optra T642 represents the next evolution of the Lexmark T64x series. It boasts a hyper-fast 457MHz processor, print speeds of up to 45 ppm, with a first page out in under 8.5 seconds, 1200 x 1200 dpi print quality (2400 image print quality), standard memory of 64MB on the T642 (expandable to 576MB), and 128MB on the Lexmark T642N, T642TN & T642DTN (expandable to 640MB), an enhanced user control panel interface with USB Direct port printing capability, a standard input capacity of 600 sheets (expandable to an impressive 4,100 sheets with the addition of optional 250, 500 and/or 2,000-sheet paper trays/bins), a 225,000 pages per month duty cycle, support for a wide compliment of operating systems including Microsoft Windows, MAC OS, Citrix MetaFrame, Linux, Novell and UNIX, along with support for 158 scalable PostScript 3 fonts, and 84 scalable PCL 6 fonts. In addition, the Lexmark T642 platform can be expanded to meet your growing requirements.
