Product Description: InkTec's Printhead Cleaning Solution, is the essential companion product for all inkjet printers.
At some point, all inkjet printers will produce poor printing results, due to blocked/clogged printheads. Running the printer's own head cleaning routine will often make little or no difference and wastes a great deal of ink. InkTec's Printhead Solution, is specially formulated to 'gently' remove the build-up of ink droplets and particles that cling to the printheads preventing ink flow. A small amount only is required to safely clean the heads properly, restore consistent even ink flow and print quality. NOTE: Blocked printheads not only results in poor print quality, but is often the cause of permanent damage to the cartridge's or the printer's printhead. The flow of ink on thermal printheads is generated by electrical impulses, which generate heat. The flow of ink is what cools the printhead, and prevents it from burning out. If there's no ink flow, then you run the risk of permanent damge. For Hewlett Packard and Lexmark printers, where the printhead is on the cartridge, this means having to replace the cartridge, but for Canon, Brother and Samsung inkjet printers, which have inbuilt printheads, replacing the printhead is a much more expensive proposition, which may not be covered by any warranty, and may require the services of an experienced technician. NOTE: Epson inkjet printers have Piezoelectric Printheads which vibrate to force the ink droplets out. Nevertheless, poor or lack of ink flow can still cause permanent damage to the printheads. NOTE: This product has been specially formulated for 'Thermal Type' printheads ...Canon (most models), Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Compaq, Dell and Sharp inkjet printers.
