Product Description The HP Laserjet 5L & 6L printer series are generally incapable of printing graphics. The 6L will be able to print some images, whilst the 5L cannot print images at all. When you send a print job that contains complex images to the printer, the HP 5L in particular, will just sit there with the green printing light flashing for an extended period, as it tries to break down the print job, and interpret the information that it receives. Unable to do so, it will eventually print out page after page of what appears to be gobbledygoog, but what is in reality the code that represents the image... it may sometimes even print just one line at the top of each page.
The way to avoid the above problem is to just add more memory... More memory means that the printer can store more information, and utilise a wider font set. The result is that your documents will print as they should including all images. For use with Hewlett Packard Laserjet 5L/ 6L/ 6L Pro/ 6LXI laser printers. |
